2010 Awards

The Military and Civilian Health Partnership Awards are collaboratively run between the Ministry of Defence, the Department of Health for England, the Welsh Assembly Government, the Scottish Government, and the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety for Northern Ireland, who hosted in 2010.
By commissioning these Awards, the Partners acknowledge the invaluable contribution of health and social care professionals from all disciplines, military and civilian, and from all walks of life, and celebrate their dedication to the health and social care of our Armed Forces, their families and our Service veterans.
Much like our excellent health and care services, the Awards are constantly evolving, and in this, the third year of the competition, it has been the Partners' pleasure to celebrate and commend worthy nominees in nine categories, including, for the first time, Healthcare Regular of the Year and Healthcare Civilian of the Year.
The competition took place on-line, including judging, over the summer 2010. There were a total of 91 entries spread over the 9 categories, and the 27 finalists were announced on 14 October. Find out more about the awards ceremony here.
