The 27 finalists took part in a memorable Ceremony in Belfast's City Hall on 27 November 2010, where Michael McGimpsey MLA, Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, welcomed guests including the Secretary of State for Health, Andrew Lansley MP, and the Surgeon General, Surgeon Vice Admiral Philip Raffaelli. The Awards were presented by His Grace the Duke of Abercorn in a ceremony compèred by Paul Clark of Ulster Television.
